To kick off being back to posting on a regular basis, I am launching a new series, “Where In The World Does Iced Tea and Top Knots Want To Go.” For the first one, I am covering Paris, France! Ever since I was little I have always wanted to go to Paris and anytime I saw Paris on TV or in a movie it heightened my dream to go to Paris.
What really just confirmed my love of Paris was the movie ‘Midnight in Paris.’ Truly fell in love all over again with Paris and more. I have my outfits planned for each occasion and historical spot I want to visit as well as my coffee spots where I will have a tea latte and French macaroon. I can’t wait to go and that is one of my goals for 2020, go to Paris and soak up as much as I can. Here’s to the trip of my dreams. I have listed some of my favorites I have that I want to go to. See below and let me know what your favorites have been when visiting Paris.
I am a lover of not just sports and fashion, but home decor and how I can incorporate sports and fashion into that. It comes out with a sporty, nautical, Parisian home decor goodness.
Envisioning what my future home is going to be like is my new obsession and it is so fun putting together mood boards of my dream pieces. Who doesn’t love putting together your ultimate home and working towards that? I know I do 🙂
When Wayfair approached me to pick out my favorite Blogger picks for their site, I jumped at the chance. I picked everything for the outside, the lighting, the bedroom, the kitchen and the perfect tub to take my bubble baths. I hope they all inspire you to decorate your favorite space or even just pursue the things you love.

Valentine’s Day is over, but love is always in the air. For me this means baseball season is here and will be dominating my tv as well as my closet. So with a new baseball themed wardrobe comes new accessories into the rotation.. A problem I run into is not having enough variety for accessories through out the season.
Rocksbox came at the perfect time for me to update my accessories for baseball games and events. Whether I am watching at home, a restaurant or at the ball park, I like my outfit and accessories to be on point. Rocksbox has everything I need from rings to earrings to bracelets and necklaces. I won’t have to worry about my accessories this season.
What I love too about Rocksbox is I can try before I buy. There isn’t this pressure or guilt that you get scolded for returning. Rocksbox is so encouraging about trying pieces on and seeing how they go with everything in your closet. It is so freeing and love how it fits into my everyday wardrobe and creativity.
Can’t forget the great deals when I do decide to purchase. They offer deals on amazing designer pieces. I am a lady that loves a good deal especially for my sporting event accessories.

“Without elegance of the heart, there is no elegance.” ~YSL
YSL as a whole has always been a brand I love and admire. I knew from friends how high quality everything was, but never really experienced YSL myself till my mom gifted me one of their perfumes as an ode to YSL when he passed. I will never get rid of the bottle, it is a treasure. Since then I have loved YSL from a far dreaming of having another YSL moment !
This dream came true a month ago. When I got invited by Lourdes of YSL Beauty to experience a day of skincare and makeup at YSL Beauty at SAKS Fifth Avenue in Union Square, San Francisco, I was jumping for joy and said yes right away. Everyone was amazing and it was fun to checkout all the new lipsticks before my facial, officially all on my wish list.
It was then time for the best facial ever from Karla O. of YSL. My skin was in need of some TLC and Karla made it happen. She used all of their amazing cleansing and hydrating products, my sensitive skin loved them all. Karla took her time and really cared about my skin and my experience, which also included an amazing hand treatment with oil and a mask in the best hand warmers. I am hooked and my next pay check is going to be put towards amazing YSL Beauty products.
Karla did amazing and continued to take care of me by setting me up with YSL makeup artist, Jamie. Jamie gave me an amazing new look that filled me with confidence and still made me feel like me. I am obsessed with all the makeup she used and slowly but surely it will all be in my makeup bag. I immediately got the amazing lipgloss she used because it was neutral with a flare of pink. This too was and is my favorite makeup look. Like the YSL skincare, their makeup doesn’t feel heavy, which is huge for me since I have such sensitive skin.
My day of self-care at YSL at SAKS was amazing. I have always gone back and forth about investing in designer products, but after my YSL experience it is more than worth it. The great thing about YSL’s products is that they are not only great quality, but well priced for what you get. My skin felt and looked amazing. Thank you YSL Beauty for taking care of me and help me kick start my self-care routine even more !
Go check out your nearest YSL Beauty and if you are in San Francisco, head on over to YSL Beauty at SAKS in Union Square !
