The Luck of Adventures in Mom’s Closet

One may think that as we get older playing dress up goes out the window, you know what I say to that, ” Absolutely Not.” I still continue to play dress up and not just in my closet, but my mom’s.

That’s why in honor of International Women’s Month, I thought it would be fun spending a day playing dress up in my mom’s closet, a woman who I admire, who inspires and continues to influence/shape who I have become in the best ways possible.

First Step Into Fall Fashions

Fall is here… well, somewhat here in Southern California, but for most of the country the tree leaves have change and the air is brisk and one can’t forget about the change in fashions.

Fall is one of my favorite times of year because it brings about the colorful leaves, all

sweater and of course all the amazing pops of color we get to incorporate into our

everyday wardrobe. I do have a confession to make: I sometimes rock those colors

all year round when I am feeling in a fall mood. But, that is what fashion is all about, right? Wearing what you feel and owning it !

Inspiration These Days

My inspiration these days has been coming from nature specifically gorgeous flowers.

I love going to the flower mart by me, farmers markets, grocery stores. All which have their own amazing selection of flowers.

One thing I truly love is that anytime I am around fresh flowers and walking through them my creative juices start flowing !

My latest inspiration from flowers turned into a fun, beautiful bouquet for my mom on Mother’s Day and shown as well previous fun bouquets from all around

My next project is going to be a mix of flowers and succulents.
