What do you all look for in a fashion staple to last you through the different seasons ? Each new season, I always try to find fun, key pieces that can go with anything. As I was trying to pick out what new pieces for Spring, I realized I wanted the key pieces I got to last me though Summer. For being a Cali girl my Spring and Summer fashion pieces pretty much go hand and hand. So when I got gifted this amazing, beautiful monogrammed clutch from Gigi New York‘s Spring line in the mail, I knew I found my key clutch/accessory for Spring and Summer.

Lights, Camera, Oscars !

It is Oscar season, which means fashion, movies, popcorn and stars ! I look forward to it every year. I love seeing what my favorite stars are going to wear, say and who will win. I think my love for the Oscars started when my family and I would print the Oscar ballots out every year(totally did this year again) and when we all try and see the nominated stars and films ( I have been slacking on this one lately).

The Oscars means family fun, bonding and eating yummy treats while watching the Oscar extravaganza. I love seeing so much great talent in one room rocking some of my favorite designers/inspiration.

Yes, fashion is always at the top of my list for why I watch the red carpet shows, but like I said the big part of why I love Oscar season is the family memories I have and will continue to have when watching with those I love.
