Happy International Women’s Day ! I am celebrating by joining the Style Collective collaboration for International Women’s Day. We are celebrating by supporting our fellow Style Collective sisters in posting answers to the following four questions !

Personal Mission Statement:

To inspire others through sports and fashion while being authentic in connecting with my community.

What are some big goals that you have accomplished ?

I relaunched my blog with its new name, Iced Tea and Top Knots ! I have continued to stay authentic while growing my blog especially with the relaunch of it. I have also booked some beautiful collaborations with Meredith M and Rocksbox.

What does International Women’s Day mean to you ?

It means supporting each other and showing love when we each achieve a milestone in our dreams.

What does Style Collective mean to you ?

Since joining, Style Collective has given me confidence to keep going with my blog, to not be so hard on myself, to not compare myself to others and to stay true to myself. Style Collective has given me a community of amazing sisters and the tools to grow my brand. It is a sisterhood and so glad it is in my life.

I am a huge baseball fan, go Chicago Cubs !

I am a lover of Disney movies.

My favorite thing to bake is brownies.

The Luck of Adventures in Mom’s Closet

One may think that as we get older playing dress up goes out the window, you know what I say to that, ” Absolutely Not.” I still continue to play dress up and not just in my closet, but my mom’s.

That’s why in honor of International Women’s Month, I thought it would be fun spending a day playing dress up in my mom’s closet, a woman who I admire, who inspires and continues to influence/shape who I have become in the best ways possible.

Here are some of my favorite outfits from my favorite lady’s closet (Shh, don’t tell her I may have to keep them 🙂 )

My mom hasn’t just influenced my love of fashion, but my passion for life. So I thank her with hugs, kisses and will conintue to go and make her proud because she makes me proud everyday to call her my amazing mother and friend.
