Knee Deep In YSL Beauty And I Love It

YSL as a whole has always been a brand I love and admire. I knew from friends how high quality everything was, but never really experienced YSL myself till my mom gifted me one of their perfumes as an ode to YSL when he passed. I will never get rid of the bottle, it is a treasure. Since then I have loved YSL from a far dreaming of having another YSL moment !

 

This dream came true a month ago. When I got invited by Lourdes of YSL Beauty to experience a day of skincare and makeup at YSL Beauty at SAKS Fifth Avenue in Union Square, San Francisco, I was jumping for joy and said yes right away. Everyone was amazing and it was fun to checkout all the new lipsticks before my facial, officially all on my wish list.

It was then time for the best facial ever from Karla O. of YSL. My skin was in need of some TLC and Karla made it happen. She used all of their amazing cleansing and hydrating products, my sensitive skin loved them all. Karla took her time and really cared about my skin and my experience, which also included an amazing hand treatment with oil and a mask in the best hand warmers. I am hooked and my next pay check is going to be put towards amazing YSL Beauty products.

Karla did amazing and continued to take care of me by setting me up with YSL makeup artist, Jamie. Jamie gave me an amazing new look that filled me with confidence and still made me feel like me. I am obsessed with all the makeup she used and slowly but surely it will all be in my makeup bag. I immediately got the amazing lipgloss she used because it was neutral with a flare of pink. This too was and is my favorite makeup look. Like the YSL skincare, their makeup doesn’t feel heavy, which is huge for me since I have such sensitive skin.

 

My day of self-care at YSL at SAKS was amazing. I have always gone back and forth about investing in designer products, but after my YSL experience it is more than worth it. The great thing about YSL’s products is that they are not only great quality, but well priced for what you get. My skin felt and looked amazing. Thank you YSL Beauty for taking care of me and help me kick start my self-care routine even more !

Must Haves for the Week

My weekly series is back ! My must haves of the week will continue every week again. This week’s list was definitely so much fun putting it together. Here are the must haves of the week. Hope they inspire you all !

Must Have #1: Cube Appeal’s Daily Planning Notebook

My goal for 2018 has been doing everything with meaningful intention and finding things to help stay on this track is key. When my friend over at Cube Appeal sent me the Daily Planning Notebook, I knew it was meant to be in helping me experience each moment with the purest of intentions. This will continue to be a must have that will always be in my purse !

Must Have #2: Wonder Woman

I recently just watched Wonder Woman for the first time. Let me tell you, I am truly inspired from this movie. It is all about strong women and them sticking to their convictions and beliefs as well as standing up for others. All of this is a must have !

Must Have #3: San Francisco

San Francisco has continuously been a city I like, but it has in the recent months been a city that I truly have fallen in love with. The little cities within the city ae truly spectacular and unique from one another, which is one of the reasons I have fallen in love with the city of San Francisco. From North Beach to Fisherman’s Warf to Mission District and so much more. The energy is amazing, the people are great, scenery is gorgeous and all around spectacular, always a must have !

Must Have #4: Yoga Works

In my new journey of physical and mental health being a priority, yoga has become a big part of my journey and life. I have been on a hunt for a studio that I connect with and feel at home that studio is Yoga Works in Old Town Pasadena. The teachers, fellow yogis have the best energy and I connected with them right away. My yoga journey will continue to be a priority and Yoga Works will always be a must have for me.

Must Have #5: Self Care

This not a new must have for me, but one that continues to be a high priority, self care. Whether it is a facial while burning my favorite Jax Kelly candle or a yoga class, self care is a routine I continue to love and need. Always a must have !
