Yes Pleases of the Week

“They call it obssession, but I prefer the word love.”

Every week I seem to find new things that I just love, peak my interest, obsessed with, have to have or all of the above. I love finding out about new products, restaurants and more, which is why I am always saying, “Yes Please.” This is where my Yes Please series came to be awhile ago and I am officially relaunching it this week, yay ! I will continue to be sharing with y’all my Yes Pleases each week. I hope y’all enjoy and let’s kick this first one off 🙂 !

Yes Please #1: Tejava Iced Tea

It is a tea I have been obsessed with for awhile. It is refreshing, delicious as well as all 100% all natural, micro brewed and ready to drink iced tea. Hope y’all love it like I do 🙂 Tejava Iced Tea can be found at Target, Whole Foods Market and many of your local spots.

Yes Please #2: Anthony Rizzo in the Leadoff Spot

Ever since Anthony Rizzo of the Chicago Cubs got moved to the leadoff spot he has killed it. He is in a 12 game hitting streak(as I type that just changed to a 13 game hitting streak with a homer) that includes his first inning production has been spectacular. Anthony has 2 homers, a walk, a single and a double, which tells me he has staying power at leadoff. Go Cubs Go !

Yes Please #3: Formula 10.0.6 Skin-Clarifying Mud Mask

I just found out about Formula 10.0.6 recently. Let me tell you I am obsessed with this mask and can’t wait to try their other amazing products. A handful of the reasons why are because it smells great, easily accesible at Target or Ulta, affordable and most importantly it doesn’t irritate my extremely sensitive skin. Be sure to check this mask out and let me know what y’all think.

Yes Please #4: Sinful Colors Nail Polish

Sinful Colors has an array of options for nail polish, if I had the space I would definitely have them all. They are so fun, fabulous and fit with any ensemble or occasion. I have noticed too my Sinful Colors manis and pedis always lasts a long time (don’t forget a top coat every other day, helps it last longer).

Yes Please #5: Iced Green Matcha like this one from Lavender & Honey Espresso Bar

An Iced Green Matcha not only creates a great Instagram moment, but it is refreshingly delicious especially in this summer heat and if y’all are into green tea like I am 🙂 If you aren’t into green tea, I suggest tasting a friends before ordering your own. It as a slight bitter taste, but doesn’t have as intense of one like regular green tea, but the whole milk helps to add some sweetness (not too sweet). A plus when ordering an Iced Green Matcha is that matcha is great to get some of your favorite antioxidants. Let me know what are some of your iced drinks 🙂

These are my Yes Pleases for this week, stay tuned for next week’s Yes Pleases !

P.S. What are some of your favorite Yes Pleases for the week? Send in your faves and I will be sure to try and include in future posts 🙂

Music at a Festival…Brings a Flock Together

IMG_8425

“There’s nothing like a music festival. People are ready to have a good time. I don’t think anyone comes to a festival going, “I’m gonna be a complete bummer today.” ~ Gary Clark, Jr.

Going to make this short and sweet because I don’t want you all to miss out on all the festival fun. Every year music festivals seem to get bigger and bigger, a lot of it is because music is universal. Music continues and will continue to bring people together.

Mixing in the fun parties and wild, spunky fashion, crazy nail and body art, you then have yourself a fabulous music festival. Whether you are off to Weekend #2 of Coachella, Stage Coach or a hidden gem I haven’t heard of, but would love, here are some twists and treats on festival fashions. Remember, festivals are your time to go all out and have fun with your fashion !
