Popping Champagne at Calabasas Malibu Food & Wine Festival

“Too much of anything is bad, but too much champagne is just right.” ~ Mark Twain

These days great company, champagne and a beautiful setting make for an amazing day and event. The Champagne Brunch for the Calabasas Malibu Food & Wine Festival on June 11th had all of these components. It was truly a beautiful event with great food from Toscanova out on the beautiful patio, live music from Tara Macri and great conversations with great company that included chefs from the previous 2 evening of the festival. I wish I could have made the first two nights because everyone was talking about how truly fantastic they were.

I always love it when I can leave an event with a huge smile on my face from enjoyment and I left with a big one from this one. I made lifelong friends from this one and have from all of Barcelona Enterprises past events as well. Barcelona Enterprises, who put the 3 day festival, put on a truly luxurious, classy event. I felt like I had known everyone for year and was welcomed with open arms. I will definitely be going again next year and will be bringing my family and friends. A champagne brunch is a perfect way to end a spectacular 3 day festival.

As Alan Semsar (CEO/Founder of Barcelona Enterprises) said, “The world’s top brands came together to support arts and education that included McLaren Beverly Hills, Capital One, Regent Seven Seas Cruises and Samuel Adams. They are all model corporate citizens who make a global & local impact. Cheers to them.” This shows how Alan and his team not only put on spectacular events on a continuous basis, but continuously put great causes at the forefront as to why they do what they do. They also align themselves with brands that put this as a priority as well, Cheers to you all !

Here is to another amazing year at the Calabasas Malibu Food & Wine Festival ! I highly recommend checking out Barcelona Enterprise’s next event.

Thank you again for allowing me to attend and be a part of an amazing day!

P.S. Anytime sports comes into a conversation, you now I am smiling. This was an added bonus to an already spectacular event. What do you all look for to make an event great?

Fun in the Sun: It’s Festival Season!

“Music produces a kind of pleasure which human nature cannot do without.” ~Confucious

This Confucious quote is one of truth, music is one I cannot do without and many of you can’t either. Music gives us memories and reminds us of specific moments. Music helps us through the good, the bad and the ugly of life. I know one song that always makes me laugh is “Bump,Bump, Bump” by B2K, it is a reminder of all my high school dancers with my friends. Music is one of fun, hope and joy, which is what makes festival season one of the best times of the year.

With the music of the festivals like Coachella, Stage Coach, FYRE and Bonnaroo (check out Seat Geek for all the festivals happening ) comes the festival fashion, which has sparked new styles continuously including brands creating capsule collections specifically for this season like White Fox, Revolve, Forever 21 and places like Target, Sidecca, Coco Rose Boutique, Attire LA, Puma, Indah and many more have perfect looks for any festival you are attending along with different showrooms that highlight amazing designers for your festival looks.

A survival tip to remember for festival season: don’t forget to hydrate throughout each day and this fun waterbottle from Bando makes for the perfect festival hydration accessory.
