Woven Pear has quickly become a part of my sock drawer ever since I picked up my first two pairs at a local boutique. They are cute, comfy and full of fabulous details (one being the cute woven pear) and love all the different choices. I took a breather these last few weeks from writing because it was just one of those times in life when I needed one. I have realized that it is okay to take a break and definitely needed. I am a lover of booties for sure. What I am really loving about booties this Fall is that added flare. They are just about having fun with your Fall outfit, which I am all for. Dream A Little Dream Tonight

These stairs in Silverlake got me thinking about what I am passionate about. My two passions in life I can’t do without are sports and fashion. It seems more and more that these 2 loves of mine are colliding, which is so exciting. What has allowed these two worlds to collide are my lifestyle blog and pr career.

My passion for both grows everyday. My blog allows me to embrace both loves and not having to choose between the two is such a joy and dream.

Each day I love finding ways to continuously have sports and fashion in my professional life and personal life. I am sure after I shot on the rainbow stairs, I went home changed into my sports gear and watched some baseball and/or golf. Even as I type up this post, I am watching my Chicago Cubs take on the Cincinnati Reds.

Something I still struggle with is trying to fullfill both sides of me (fashion girl & sports fanatic), but the more I focus on my blogging and honing in on my pr career it seems my two passions come together.

Being at the rainbow stairs and some moments since then, I have realized that I don’t have to choose between the two. For y’all too, if you have multiple passions in life, don’t get discouraged about feeling like you have to choose. You can find ways to pursue them both or even mold them together.

Each day, I am so grateful that everyone around me is so supportive, allow me to be me and pursue what I love. Don’t let others get in your way of what you are passionate about , where there is a will there is a way.

I love fashion and I love all things sports. They will both always be a part of all aspects in my life. I am so grateful and excited about where they both will take me!

Yes Please #1: Fireworks Show

Fireworks have always been one of my favorite things about the 4th of July. This 4th of July, I was blessed to see 5 shows at once and 2 on the way home. I had so much fun watching with my parents. Fireworks will always be a big yes please ! I look forward to the next 4th of July show or hey may be seeing them even sooner at a baseball game 🙂

Yes Please #2: Laura Mercier Almond Coconut Hand Creme

I was just introduced to this creme by Laura Mercier recently in a goodie bag I won (Thanks to Sydne Summer) and I cannot leave home without it. It keeps my hands continuously smooth and hydrated all while smelling like a hint of almond and coconut, which is always a plus.

Yes Please #5: Skin Owl Eye Creme

I came across Skin Owl at an event I recently attended. I was so excited when I got a Skin Owl product in my goodie bag. It was their eye concentrate (cream) and I love the feel and moisture it gives under my eyes. It is smooth, which is perfect for applying my makeup on top. It is a natural product and the scent is subtle, which are 2 things I look for in skincare products these days. Skin Owl is a big Yes Please !

Three Day Rule’s Night of Beauty at Viceroy Santa Monica

“Glamour is a state of mind.”

A little bit about Three Day Rule, who invited me to the fantastic ‘Night of Beauty’ event, they got started around 10 years ago and are now in 8 different cities. Three Day Rule’s goal is to create a much, more enjoyable, stress free dating experience. I look at TDR as a traditional yet modern way of dating without an app, which I love.

It is more of a personal way of dating in that the matchmakers go on the first dates asking all the uncomfortable questions for their clients. To me it is like your friend is weeding out the ones that are not right for you. Another fun aspect of TDR is that if you meet a matchmaker you can also become a match, which means if they have a client that they think you should meet they will make the setup for you 🙂 Simply love this idea ! Outfit of the Night

Now back to TDR’s 10th Annual Night of Beauty Event on June 12th. This beautiful event was hosted at the spectacular Viceroy Santa Monica (definitely having a staycation here). It was the perfect evening for an amazing event. Three Day Rule, Gilt City and Match teamed up for this annual event. Night of Beauty consisted of complimentary beauty, hair, nail touch-ups, pampering and tons of shopping with beGlammed (who did my makeup), Nail Garden (added the beautiful glitter to my mani), Cristophe Salon (William gave me my sexy beach waves), Toms (got my new shades, obsessed and for a great cause), Sprinkles Cupcakes (of course I had a cupcake & a cookie), Kendra Scott, Soul Cycle, Trunk Club, Club Pilates (excited to try), SUJA Juice (obsessed), Mai Couture (picked up amazing blush blot sheets), Skin Owl and many more amazing brands were present.

I not only got to enjoy a glamorous event while getting pampered (one of my favorite things), I also met a lot of amazing new people, which included Alisa, a matchmaker at TDR. Alisa went even more in depth about TDR and was kind enough to be my photographer for the evening.

After this beautiful event by the Viceroy Santa Monica pool, there was a singles mixer event at the bar. I sadly couldn’t’ stay, but I am positive that was a fun, successful mixer. I truly had an amazing time at TDR’s 10th Annual Night of Beauty Event and can’t wait for next year’s.

If you ever have a chance to attend a Three Day Rule event, I highly recommend it. Even if you aren’t single, they are perfect events to go with friends and meet new people.

If you are single and looking for a match, hit up Alisa at Three Day Rule. I ended up meeting with Alisa a week after the event for coffee and so excited to see who she matches me with !
