My family has been through a lot the last few years and that doesn’t even include the world’s challenge of Covid. So once 2020 hit, I knew in 2021 I would create a backyard oasis for my family. We are a family that have always loved creating experiences outside whenever we can and when it is cozy well, we tend to utilize it even more.
I had the pleasure of partnering with Wayfair to do that. Getting the backyard oasis pieces put together for my family created just what we needed after a hard few years. We can’t wait to have dinners, chats, family hangs and s’more making nights whenever we can!

Every holiday season I try to brighten up the joy in my room since it is where I spend most of my time these days working from home. Joy and Christmas go hand and hand for me. This year the joy is needed that much more so for the first time I decorated for Christmas before Thanksgiving. I am happy to admit I am so glad I did. Thee joy radiates for me each and every day seeing all my Christmas decor throughout my room thanks to Wayfair! I can’t wait to decorate the rest of my house 🙂

Iced Tea & Top Knots: Changing up your decor by season is definitely overwhelming sometimes because of the cost. I have found the picking up a couple new pillows, a new blanket and a new vase definitely help change up your room for the fall season while staying on a budget.
At the beginning of this year, I did a revamp of my office and bedroom to start fresh and it definitely has helped me do that. I hope it inspires you to change up a space in your home. Here it is!

Change can be scary, but with a new year, change can feel amazing. At the end of last year, I knew that I wanted to change the space I was living in mainly my room and my office space.
What made me want to make the change was that my space was feeling cluttered and I was not liking that. So 2020, rolled around and my resolution was clear, New Me meant New Space.
Wayfair was the perfect company to help make my space feel like the new again. They helped me create the sanctuary I wanted for my bedroom and the creative space I needed in my office. I took down the clutter and created the calm and creative I needed.

When it comes to home improvements, I have always thought that to really make a change and splash I would have to go big, knock down some walls and repaint every space, but that is not the case. I chose this pillow because there is so much to be thankful for this year and in this moment. This pillow represents that and just adds so much joy to the room for this Thanksgiving season. I am really into plaid and pumpkins so when I saw them both together I just knew they were at the top of my Thanksgiving list from Wayfair. They add that extra Thanksgiving cheer to the room, which I love. I am a sports nut all year round, but football is definitely one of my favorites. It brings so many people together at one another’s houses. It creates such a community around it that this sign is a must have for me this holiday season. Go team go! Giving thanks is so important and this beautiful sign is the perfect reminder. It will go perfectly on any windowsill or mantel. I love the simplicity yet beautiful touch it adds to any room and it can be up all year round. Candles are such a great item to put you in the mood for the holiday season. Everyone seems to have a scent that they love and gives them all the feels of certain amazing holiday moments with loved ones. This candle is the perfect scent that can give you that reminder and I know gives me that too 🙂
