Yes Please #4: Woven Pear Socks

Woven Pear has quickly become a part of my sock drawer ever since I picked up my first two pairs at a local boutique. They are cute, comfy and full of fabulous details (one being the cute woven pear) and love all the different choices. I recently was sent these amazing Ice Cream socks and Bison socks to feature, which is officially one of my favorite packages to get. They are another accessory that gives not only comfort, but that fun peekaboo pop to an ensemble. For me, Woven Pear is always a Yes Please !

Yes Please #5: Hask Hair Products

My hair is thick and there is a lot of it. I am always looking for great products that are paraben & sulfate free. I have fallen in love with Hask Hair ever since I first tried their shampoo, conditioner and dry shampoo (my fave). I have been wanting to try all their products for awhile so I was overjoyed when Hask Hair themselves sent me all their amazing products. I was overwhelmed with joy and excitement to try them all. Hask Hair is hair happiness for me and always a Yes Please !

Yes Pleases for Fall

“Don’t Be Into Trends. Don’t Make Fashion Own You, But You Decide What You Are.” ~ Gianni Versace

slide_317953_2933717_free

I took a breather these last few weeks from writing because it was just one of those times in life when I needed one. I have realized that it is okay to take a break and definitely needed. I am back and this week’s Yes Pleases are here ! This week’s Yes Pleases are all about Fall trends that I am loving. Fall trends are one of my favorite things.

Here’s to Fall being just around the corner and to all the fun trends to come ! Yes Pleases, here we go !

Yes Please #1: Booties with Some Flare

I am a lover of booties for sure. What I am really loving about booties this Fall is that added flare. They are just about having fun with your Fall outfit, which I am all for. The added detail of fringe, bright colors, metallics, which all give a pair of booties an extra pop. A continued Yes Please to that extra pop to those booties πŸ˜‰ !

Yes Please #2: Moody Florals

I am all about florals throughout the fashion seasons. I am loving the twists on florals that Fall trends bring to them. The twist Fall is bringing to the floral trend is deep, dark colors or moody florals as they are calling it. It gives the traditional florals a unique flare and twist, which is fantastic, fabulous and a big Fall Yes Please !

Yes Please #3: Pale Pink

Pale pink is becoming my new favorite color. I am loving that it is a big trend for Fall and that I just so happen to have a bunch of it in my closet already. It is a color that goes with everything and perfect for any occasion So an absolute Yes Please to all things pale pink for Fall and beyond.

Yes Please #4: Animal Print

Yes, animal print is back ! Animal print is always so fun to include in my ensembles when I can. I love that it is back everywhere now, but in the most tasteful ways. I love everything from subtle accessories to a chic all over pants and everything in between. There is just something about animal print that brings out my inner girl boss and makes me say Yes Please !

Yes Please #5: Nail Art

Nail art has always been one of my favorite things ever since I got my first mani as well as one of my first gifts with nail goodies. It is another extension of my creativity. I am really loving the Fall nail art trends from black accents (seen below) to reverse french mani to bright colors to 3D design. They all have my big Yes Please !

*For more nail inspiration art, be sure to Harper’s Bazaar !

These definitely are not all my favorite trends, but are the ones that stand out. Here are a few of my honorable mentions: 80s, 90s, and Sheer Layering !

Perfect Formulas: Healthy Nails are Beautiful Nails

“Your nails are a way to speak your style without having to say a word.” ~ Tammy Taylor

For as long as I can remember I have loved having my nails done and keeping them healthy. It was an activity my sister and I enjoyed partaking in with our mom at the dining room table. It is a tradition that we still partake in whether at home or at a salon that we love. What we love about this tradition is that it’s full of laughter and bonding with one another.

So with nail polish being a dominate accessory for me, I was so pumped when I received this Pink Gel Coat polish from Perfect Formula. What is so great about this product is the keratin protein-rich nail coating that instantly strengthens, seals and protects the nails. I am already obsessed and after only one use I can see and feel a difference in my nail health. Yay ! Some other added bonuses about the Pink Gel Coat polish is that it dries quickly and also works as a base coat. Yes Please, sign me up !

This is a product that is great for not only your nail health, but is fun and fabulous as well. It is a product I love and am so glad it was introudced to me. I highly recommend Β trying out Perfect Formula’s Pink Gel Coat, which can be found at any Ulta Beauty store. Yay for Fantastic Nail Care !

P.S. What is your favorite nail polish you would pair with Perfect Formula’s Pink Gel Coat? Mine is this nude color by Oribe. I will be wearing both every day !

Yes Pleases of the Week

“They call it obssession, but I prefer the word love.”

Every week I seem to find new things that I just love, peak my interest, obsessed with, have to have or all of the above. I love finding out about new products, restaurants and more, which is why I am always saying, “Yes Please.” This is where my Yes Please series came to be awhile ago and I am officially relaunching it this week, yay ! I will continue to be sharing with y’all my Yes Pleases each week. I hope y’all enjoy and let’s kick this first one off πŸ™‚ !

Yes Please #1: Tejava Iced Tea

It is a tea I have been obsessed with for awhile. It is refreshing, delicious as well as all 100% all natural, micro brewed and ready to drink iced tea. Hope y’all love it like I do πŸ™‚ Tejava Iced Tea can be found at Target, Whole Foods Market and many of your local spots.

Yes Please #2: Anthony Rizzo in the Leadoff Spot

Ever since Anthony Rizzo of the Chicago CubsΒ got moved to the leadoff spot he has killed it. He is in a 12 game hitting streak(as I type that just changed to a 13 game hitting streak with a homer) that includes his first inning production has been spectacular. Anthony has 2 homers, a walk, a single and a double, which tells me he has staying power at leadoff. Go Cubs Go !

*Stats are from Chicago Sun-Times

Yes Please #3: Formula 10.0.6 Skin-Clarifying Mud Mask

I just found out about Formula 10.0.6 recently. Let me tell you I am obsessed with this mask and can’t wait to try their other amazing products. A handful of the reasons why are because it smells great, easily accesible at Target or Ulta, affordable and most importantly it doesn’t irritate my extremely sensitive skin. Be sure to check this mask out and let me know what y’all think.

Yes Please #4: Sinful Colors Nail Polish

Sinful Colors has an array of options for nail polish, if I had the space I would definitely have them all. They are so fun, fabulous and fit with any ensemble or occasion. I have noticed too my Sinful Colors manis and pedis always lasts a long time (don’t forget a top coat every other day, helps it last longer).

Yes Please #5: Iced Green Matcha like this one from Lavender & Honey Espresso Bar

An Iced Green Matcha not only creates a great Instagram moment, but it is refreshingly delicious especially in this summer heat and if y’all are into green tea like I am πŸ™‚ If you aren’t into green tea, I suggest tasting a friends before ordering your own. It as a slight bitter taste, but doesn’t have as intense of one like regular green tea, but the whole milk helps to add some sweetness (not too sweet). A plus when ordering an Iced Green Matcha is that matcha is great to get some of your favorite antioxidants. Let me know what are some of your iced drinks πŸ™‚

These are my Yes Pleases for this week, stay tuned for next week’s Yes Pleases !

P.S. What are some of your favorite Yes Pleases for the week? Send in your faves and I will be sure to try and include in future posts πŸ™‚

Yes,Please of the Week: All Things San Diego

So I have been away for awhile and now I am back. I wanted to kick start with another Yes, Please piece. This week it is yes, please to all things San Diego. It is like my second home from family being there to amazing restaruants that I just can’t stay away from. I just spent 4th of July there and it was nice to able to walk everywhere and interact with great family and friends. I enjoyed so much that weekend, but ones that stood out was spending time with my sister, brunch with friends and fireworks !

It isn’t always about the holiday weekend in San Diego. It can be about going to a Charger game and cheering them on, which is another big yes, please in San Diego. What I love to about San Diego too is that there are some many great little pockets of cute towns from Old Town to La Jolla to the Gaslamp District. Also, another one of my favorite places and activities that is about an hour outside of the city is Julian and apple picking. I have done it twice and each time and so much time walking through the cute town, going apple picking, eating apple pie and eating lunch in the outside park.

I have come to realize San Diego has part of my heart and love the warmth and down to earth feel it has to offer and all the amazing things it has to offer. There is something in San Diego for everyone from Sports to Fashion Week to Comic Con to Restaurant & Beer Week(it is a foodies paradise). So don’t be afraid to say Yes,Please to San Diego and go out and explore. Can’t wait to hear what you all think.
